Bacon And Herb Omelets Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 310 gram can whole kernel corn; drained
  • 1 1/2 c Grated tasty cheese
  • 1 c Milk
  • 4 Bacon rashers; sliced
  • 1 Onion; finely sliced
  • 200 g Shortcrust pastry
  • 1 pk MAGGI Leek & Potato Soup Mix
  • 2 lg Eggs; beaten
  • 1 tb Butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Line a 20cm flan tin with the pastry & put in the fridge for 10-15 mins.
  • Step #2 Heat the butter in a small saucepan, add the onion & bacon & cook for 2-3 mins.
  • Step #3 Cool.
  • Step #4 Spread the cooled onion mixture over the pastry.
  • Step #5 Cover with the corn & top this with the cheese.
  • Step #6 mix the eggs, soup mix & milk & pour over the filling.
  • Step #7 Bake in a preheated oven, 200 C for 25-30 mins or until the flan is golden brown & set.
