Baked Rigatoni With Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Flour; and
  • 4 tb Butter; and
  • Bolognese meat sauce; see recipe
  • Salt
  • Medium-thick b?chamel sauce; using
  • Oven-to-table ceramic baking dish
  • Butter; for greasing the dish
  • 2 c Milk; and
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 6 tb Freshly grated parmegiano-reggiano
  • 1 1/2 lb Rigatoni

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 preheat your trusty oven to 400F F.
  • Step #3 2.
  • Step #4 Cook the rigatoni in abundant, boiling salted water.
  • Step #5 Drain when exceptionally firm, a shade less cooked than al dente because it will undergo extra cooking in the oven.
  • Step #6 Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  • Step #7 3.
  • Step #8 Add the meat sauce, b?chamel, & 4 Tbsp.
  • Step #9 grated Parmesan to the pasta.
  • Step #10 Toss thoroughly to coat the pasta well & distribute the sauces uniformly.
  • Step #11 4.
  • Step #12 Lightly smear the baking dish with butter.
  • Step #13 Put in the entire contents of the bowl, leveling it with a spatula.
  • Step #14 top this with 2 Tbsp.
  • Step #15 grated Parmesan & dot with butter.
  • Step #16 Put the dish on the uppermost rack of the preheated oven & bake for 10 mins, until a little bit of a crust forms on top.
  • Step #17 After taking it out of the oven, allow the rigatoni to settle for a few mins before bringing to the table.
