Chocolate Toffee Crunchies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c butter (no substitutes), melted
  • 1/4 c packed brown sugar
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 c finely sliced pecans
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c butter (no substitutes)
  • 2 c vanilla wafer crumbs

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine crumbs, brown sugar & butter.
  • Step #2 Press into an ungreased 13-in.
  • Step #3 x 9-in.
  • Step #4 x 2-in.
  • Step #5 baking pan.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees F for 8-10 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #7 In a saucepan, bring butter & brown sugar to a boil over med-heat/flame; boil & stir for 1 min.
  • Step #8 Pour evenly over crust.
  • Step #9 Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 mins.
  • Step #10 Remove from oven; let this stand for 2 mins.
  • Step #11 Sprinkle top with chocolate chips; let this stand until chocolate is melted.
  • Step #12 Spread evenly over top; sprinkle with pecans.
  • Step #13 Cool completely before cutting.
