Ingredients
1/4 pt Clear honey
Icing sugar
30 Sheets filo pastry
8 oz Melted butter
3 1/4 oz Caster sugar
10 oz Pecan nuts
Ground nutmeg
14 oz Pistachios; peeled
4 oz Sultanas
Directions
Step #1 Layer all the ingredients together between the sheets of pastry with the butter & sugar, & roll up the pastry.
Step #2 Brush with plenty of melted butter & dust with nutmeg.
Step #3 Bake in the oven at 180C for about 20 mins or until golden brown.
Step #4 Mix the honey & caster sugar to make a syrup & glaze the baklava as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Step #5 Dust with icing sugar.
