Ingredients
  • 1/4 pt Clear honey
  • Icing sugar
  • 30 Sheets filo pastry
  • 8 oz Melted butter
  • 3 1/4 oz Caster sugar
  • 10 oz Pecan nuts
  • Ground nutmeg
  • 14 oz Pistachios; peeled
  • 4 oz Sultanas

Directions
  • Step #1 Layer all the ingredients together between the sheets of pastry with the butter & sugar, & roll up the pastry.
  • Step #2 Brush with plenty of melted butter & dust with nutmeg.
  • Step #3 Bake in the oven at 180C for about 20 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #4 Mix the honey & caster sugar to make a syrup & glaze the baklava as soon as it comes out of the oven.
  • Step #5 Dust with icing sugar.
