Balsamic-glazed Sirloin Steak Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 1 tb Sugar
  • 2 tb Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 md Red onion; sliced thin
  • 3/4 lb Red cabbage; sliced thin

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large heavy skillet heat oil over moderate heat until hot but not smoking & cook cabbage & onion, stirring, 10 mins or until just tender.
  • Step #2 stir in the water, sugar, stirring every once in awhile, until almost all liquid is evaporated & vegetables are tender, & salt & pepper to taste & let simmer, vinegar, about 15 mins.
  • Step #3 Yield: 2 servings.
