1/2 lb Shredded Coconut 2 c Shelled Raw Sunflower Seeds
Directions
Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 300F degrees F.
Step #2 (150 degrees F.
Step #3 --.
Step #4 In a large bowl mix oats, coconut, pecans, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, walnuts, sesame seed & nuts ( can include almonds, or a combination of all of them).
Step #5 mix well.
Step #6 In a large saucepan mix brown sugar, water, honey, oil, molasses, salt, cinnamon & vanilla.
Step #7 Heat until sugar is dissolved, but do not boil.
Step #8 Pour the syrup over the dry ingredients & stir until well-coated.
Step #9 Spread onto five 13 X 9-inch baking pans, or cookie sheets with sides.
Step #10 Bake 20 to 30 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
Step #11 Bake 15 mins longer for crunchier texture.
Step #12 Cool.
Step #13 Add raisins or other dried fruit, if desired.
Step #14 Put in airtight containers & label as Granola mix.
Step #15 store this in a cool dry place & use within 6 months.
