24-hour Lettuce Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 16 oz Bacon, cooked crisp, crumble
  • 1/4 c Green onion, slice with tops
  • Paprika
  • 1 c Mayonnaise
  • 1 pk Peas, 10 oz. frozen, thawed
  • 2 c Natural Swiss cheese, shred
  • 6 Eggs, hard cooked & sliced
  • Salt, pepper & sugar
  • 6 c Lettuce, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Place 2 c of the lettuce in the bottom of a large bowl, Sprinkle top with salt, pepper & sugar.
  • Step #2 Layer eggs atop lettuce in bowl; Sprinkle top with more salt.
  • Step #3 Layer in order; peas, remaining lettuce, bacon & Swiss cheese.
  • Step #4 Spread mayonnaise over the top, sealing to the edge of the bowl.
  • Step #5 Cover & chill for 24 hrs.
  • Step #6 Garnish with green onion & paprika.
  • Step #7 Toss before serving.
