Ingredients
  • INGREDIENTS
  • 3 c Sugar
  • 1/2 c Vegetable shortening
  • 3 c All-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1 c Butter,softened
  • 1/2 ts Lemon extract
  • 5 Eggs,large
  • 1 c 7-Up or other lemon-lime soda
  • 1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract

Directions
  • Step #1 7-UP lb Cake Categories: Cake Easy Calories per serving: 420 Number of Servings: 16 Fat grams per serving: 20 : Approx.
  • Step #2 Cook Time: 90min Cholesterol per serving: 97 Marks: DIRECTIONS preheat your trusty oven to 325F degrees F.
  • Step #3 Grease 12-c Bundt pan.
  • Step #4 mix flour & salt in bowl.
  • Step #5 mix remaining ingreidents except soda in large mixer bowl; beat at medium speed until ligfht & fluffy, scraping sides every once in awhile, 5 mins.
  • Step #6 Reduce speed to low; add dry ingredients & soda, beginning & ending with dry ingredients.
  • Step #7 Bake 1 1/2 hrs or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step #8 Cool in pan 15 mins.
  • Step #9 Invert onto wire rack, remove pan & cool completely.
  • Step #10 Makes 16 Servings.
  • Step #11 Per Servings: 420 calories, 4 gm protein, 173 mg sodium, 20 gm fat, 57 gm carbohydrates, 97 mg cholesterol.
