9 Minute Fresh Fruit Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • Soy grits 1 1/2 Tbs 3/8 c
  • Cornmeal 1/3 c 1 1/3 c
  • 1 tb Yeast
  • 3 1/2 tb Oil
  • Soy flour 1/4 c 1 c
  • 1 3/4 tb Malt syrup
  • Millet 1/4 c 1 c
  • 1 1/8 c 9 grain mix
  • Triticale flour 1/2 c 2 c
  • 1 ts Salt
  • Sunflower seeds 1/2 c 2 c
  • Makes 2 - 1 1/2 lb loaves
  • Flax meal 1 Tbs 1/4 c
  • 5 1/2 c Hard whole wheat flour
  • 9 Grain Mix Makes 2 1/4 c Makes 10c
  • Buckwheat groats or flour 1 Tbs 1/4 c
  • 2/3 tb Blackstrap molasses
  • Mix these up & you're ready to make bread!
  • 2 1/3 c Warm water
  • Oats 1/4 c 1 c

Directions

  • Step #2 Definetly worth the extra effort of finding the 9-grain mix ingredients.
  • Step #3 The mix will keep well in the refrigerator - we're sure you'll want to make this bread again (try a handful in pancakes!).
  • Step #4 Mix the water, molasses, malt & yeast.
  • Step #5 Add the 9 grain mix, salt & oil (you can also make a sponge & wait, flour, but it's not necessary).
  • Step #6 Mix, & knead dough well.
  • Step #7 Let rise, shape into loaves & let rise again in oiled bread pans.
  • Step #8 bake this at 350 F for 45 min.
