Ingredients
  • GUMDROP TULIPS:
  • 1 pk Betty Crocker Super Moist lemon cake mix
  • 1/3 c Vegetable oil
  • 1 Tub Betty Crocker Creamy Deluxe lemon ready-to- spread frosting
  • 20 Gumdrop Tulips
  • 1 1/4 c Water
  • 20 sm Assorted colored gumdrops
  • 10 Green leaf-shaped grumdrops
  • 20 Green toothpicks
  • 3 Eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350?.
  • Step #2 Generously grease & flour 2 round pans 8 or 9x 1 1/2 inches.
  • Step #3 Beat cake mix (dry), water, oil & eggs on lowish speed 30 seconds.
  • Step #4 Beat on medium speed 2 mins.
  • Step #5 pour this into pans.
  • Step #6 Bake 25 to 34 mins or until cake springs back when touched lightly in center.
  • Step #7 Cool 10 mins; remove this from pans.
  • Step #8 Cool completely on wire rack.
  • Step #9 Fill layers & frost cake with frosting.
  • Step #10 Garnish with Gumdrop Tulips.
  • Step #11 Gumdrop Tulips: Cut green gumdrops horizontally in half for leaves.
  • Step #12 Thread 1 leaf half onto middle of each toothpick.
  • Step #13 Snip bottom of each gumdrop 4 times to form tulip petals.
  • Step #14 Place on end of toothpick.
  • Step #15 Yield: 12 to 16 servings.
