Kaeng Som Phak Bung Phrik Sod Kab Pla~ Sour F Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 ts Grated lemon rind
  • 2 ea Cloved of garlic, minced
  • 2 ts Shrimp or anchovy paste
  • 3/4 ts Dried ground chili peppers
  • 1/4 c Finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 ts Ground coriander
  • 5 c Coconut cream
  • 3 lb Top sirloin, 1/4" thick
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Ground caraway seeds
  • 2 tb Minced green onions
  • 1/2 ts Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 ts Basil

Directions
  • Step #1 lb or chop together the chili peppers, cabbage, coriander, caraway seeds, black pepper, shallots, lemon rind, salt, garlic, & basil.
  • Step #2 Cut the meat in 1"x4" strips.
  • Step #3 Bring half of the coconut cream to a boil, add the meat, cover & cook over low hat for 20 mins.
  • Step #4 stir in the the spice mixutre, shrimp paste, and remaining coconut cream.
  • Step #5 Cook 15 mins longer.
  • Step #6 Serve with rice.
  • Step #7 Kaeng Phed.
