Khao Pad Sapparot (stir Fried Rice & Pineap Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c Sliced onions
  • 4 ea Green onions/scallions/spring onions, cut in 4-in. lengths
  • 1/2 c Sliced Thail chilis
  • 4 c Cooked rice
  • 1 c Hot basil leaves
  • 1 sm Tomato, cut into wedges
  • 4 oz Pork loin
  • 1/4 ts White pepper
  • 2 tb Sugar
  • 1 tb Sweet soy sauce
  • 3 tb Oil
  • 3 ea Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 ea Carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c Sliced cucumber
  • 1/3 c Fish sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat a large skillet until hot & add the oil.
  • Step #2 Add the meat, garlic, chilis (or peppers) & onions and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Step #3 Add the rice, sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce & white pepper & continue to cook this until the rice is hot.
  • Step #4 Toss in the basil leaves & stir this to mix.
  • Step #5 Remove to a serving plate & garnish with tomato, cucumber, carrot & green onions.
