Kielbasa & Bow Tie Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 6 Egg Yolks
  • Salt to taste
  • ---PASTRY------
  • 4 1/2 c Flour
  • 1/2 pt Sour Cream
  • 1 lb Butter
  • 1 tb Sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 --FILLING----- 6 Egg Whites 1 1/2 c Powdered Sugar 1/2 ts Lemon Juice 1/2 ts Vanilla 1 1/2 lb Walnuts, finely ground Mix flour & butter for pastry.
  • Step #2 Add sugar, salt and beaten egg yolks.
  • Step #3 Add sour cream.
  • Step #4 Knead until smooth.
  • Step #5 Form 60 balls.
  • Step #6 Chill overnight.
  • Step #7 Roll each ball thin.
  • Step #8 Fill at base, roll & seal.
  • Step #9 Filling: Beat egg whites & add sugar & beat until stiff.
  • Step #10 Add flavoring and nuts.
  • Step #11 Place filling into dough & roll.
  • Step #12 bake this at 350F for 20 mins or until slightly brown.
  • Step #13 Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
