Korean Steak Marinade Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c Soy sauce
  • 1 lb Sirloin steak
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 c Minced green onions
  • 1 Clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 c Sesame or other oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Thinly slice steak into 1-inch wide strips.
  • Step #2 Dip strips into a marinade made by combining garlic with rest of ingredients.
  • Step #3 Now dip in crushed toasted sesame seeds to cover the meat completely, & return to the marinade for an hr.
  • Step #4 Weave on bamboo sticks & broil quickly, if you prefer, or, fry quickly in a little oil.
  • Step #5 (The sesame seeds are toasted by cooking slowly in a heavy skillet, until brown.
  • Step #6 They are then crushed in a mortar or heavy bowl, with salt.
  • Step #7 The mixture should not be smooth.
