Kosher Dill Pickles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Flour
  • 1 cn Stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 Green pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 ts Basil leaves
  • 3 c Hot cooked rice
  • 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Clove garlic, sliced
  • 1/2 ts Chili powder
  • 1 cn Tomato paste
  • 3 c Water
  • 1/2 lb Redfish fillets
  • 1 Lge. onion, sliced
  • 2 ts Salt
  • 1 lb Trout fillets
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 2 tb Veg. oil
  • 1 pk Frozen sliced okra part thaw

Directions
  • Step #1 Saute vegs.
  • Step #2 slightly in oil in dutch oven.
  • Step #3 stir in the flour; mix well.
  • Step #4 add in the remaining ingreds.
  • Step #5 except fish, okra & rice.
  • Step #6 Simmer covered for 30 min.
  • Step #7 Remove bay leaf.
  • Step #8 Add fish & okra.
  • Step #9 Cover & let simmer extra 10 min.
  • Step #10 , or until okra is tender.
  • Step #11 Serve in soup bowls or plates over hot rice.
  • Step #12 Recipe may be easily doubled.
  • Step #13 Freezes well.
  • Step #14 Better next day.
