Ingredients
  • 1 c Potato peels, firmly packed
  • 1 tb Besan
  • 1 tb White poppyseeds
  • 1/8 ts Salt
  • 1 ds Cayenne
  • 1 tb Vegetable oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Put besan in a paper bag & add potato peels.
  • Step #2 Close the bag tightly & shake until the peels are evenly coated.
  • Step #3 Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Step #4 Add poppyseeds & saute carefully until lightly browned.
  • Step #5 Add salt & cayenne.
  • Step #6 Add the peels & fry until they are a medium-brown & crisp.
  • Step #7 Stir constantly: this will take anywhere up to 15 mins.
  • Step #8 remove this from heat & serve hot or at about room temp.
