Dovel Family Oyster Stew Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 oz) cans oysters, drained
  • 1/3 c butter
  • 32 fluid oz half-and-half

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Cook the drained oysters in the butter over med-heat/flame until warmed through.
  • Step #3 Stir in half-and-half & bring to a slight simmer.
  • Step #4 Reduce heat, & stir every once in awhile to prevent boiling or scorching the bottom of the pan.
  • Step #5 Serve hot.
