Ambrosia Fruit Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tb Coconut
  • 1 cn Pineapple chunks in light syrup
  • 1/2 ts Orange peel; grated
  • 2 md Apples, unpeeled; sliced
  • 1/4 c Packed brown sugar
  • 2 md Oranges

Directions
  • Step #1 Recipe by: Sue Klapper Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 c juice in a saucepan; set pineapple aside.
  • Step #2 Add brown sugar & orange peel to the juice; heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Step #3 Peel & section oranges into a large bowl, reserving any juice; add the apples & pineapple.
  • Step #4 Add pineapple juice mixture & stir carefully.
  • Step #5 Chill.
  • Step #6 Just before serving, Sprinkle top with coconut.
