Apple Butter Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2/3 c Fromage frais;
  • 1/4 c Milk;
  • 2/3 c c natural yogurt =OR=-
  • 1/4 c Heaped bulgur;
  • 1/3 c Dried apple rings;
  • A little artifical sweetener

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix the apple & bulgur in a bowl, then stir in the the yogurt or formage frais & half the milk.
  • Step #2 Cover & set aside for 30 mins, or until the bulgur is softened & swollen.
  • Step #3 The grain should stillhave some bite, although it can be left covered in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Step #4 Stir well & add extra milk necessary to make the mixture creamy.
  • Step #5 The mixture can be sweetened with artificial sweetener if liked.
  • Step #6 Very the fruit, if you like, or add fresh fruit to the plain soaked bulgar.
