Step #1 mix the apple slices, blueberries, microwaving on full power until the fruit is very tender, lemon juice and cinnamon in a 1 quart casserole dish & cover, cider, about 10 mins.
Step #2 Then uncover the let the mixture cool for about 5 mins.
Step #3 mix the fruit mixture (liquids too) & butter in a processor or mixer & whiz until pureed, about 5 seconds.
Step #4 Great warm or chilled, especiall on pancakes or sourdough toast.
Step #5 Stores covered and put in the fridged for up to a week; makes 1 1/2 c.
