Step #1 Preparation : Place butter in mixing bowl & beat with electric mixer for about 10-15 mins until butter is white & fluffy.
Step #2 Add 2 types of sugar.
Step #3 Whip again thoroughly with a spatula; slowly add flour & continue to mix with spatula until the flour is absorbed & a medium soft dough is formed.
Step #4 Be sure to mix with spatula, because heat from hands melts the butter.
Step #5 Add more flour if needed.
Step #6 Remove mixture to lightly floured surface & quickly roll with floured hands into rope shape about 1 1/2 inch diameter.
Step #7 Cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces on diagonal forming a diamond shape.
Step #8 Place one almond in middle of each diamond.
Step #9 Place on baking sheet at 300 degrees until cookies are set.
Step #10 They should remaining white not browned, about 10-12 mins.
