Lemon Fluff Custard Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Sticks butter or margarine, room temperature
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 2 tb Grated lemon peel
  • 1 tb Lemon juice
  • 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1/4 ts Baking soda
  • 2 1/4 c Flour
  • 1 ts Cayenne powder
  • 1 Egg

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 400F degrees Cream the butter & sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step #2 Add the lemon juice, lemon peel, & egg & beat well.
  • Step #3 Sift the dry ingredients together.
  • Step #4 Beat into the butter mixture.
  • Step #5 Place the mixture into a cookie press, & force the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Step #6 Bake for 8 mins or until cookies are lightly browned.
