Lemon Poppy Seed Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Lemon juice
  • 3/4 c Popping corn
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tb Melted butter
  • 1/4 c Corn oil
  • Salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Yield: 6 In a large heavy pot, heat corn oil over high heat until the oil smokes.
  • Step #2 Add 1 kernel popping corn & heat until kernel pops.
  • Step #3 Add rest of popping corn, cover pot, & shake carefully until corn starts to pop.
  • Step #4 Shake vigorously until popping subsides.
  • Step #5 remove this from heat.
  • Step #6 Mix lemon juice with melted butter.
  • Step #7 Toss popcorn with lemon zest, salt, & butter/lemon juice.
