Step #1 Place flour, oat bran, baking powder, brown sugar, & cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice in bowl & mix well at lowish speed.
Step #2 In a separate bowl mix the applesauce, water, oil, & egg whites & beat with a fork to mix.
Step #3 Add applesauce mixture to flour mixture & mix at medium speed only until all flour is moistened.
Step #4 Grease muffin tins with margarine or line with paper c.
Step #5 Fill muffin tins 1/2 full & bake this at 400F F for about 20 mins, or until muffins are browned & spring back when touched in the center.
Step #6 Serve hot, if possible.
