Apricot Cake Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tb Granted orange rind
  • 1 c Water
  • Sugar
  • 1/3 c Orange juice
  • 10 c Sliced apricots

Directions
  • Step #1 Add water to apricots & cook this until soft.
  • Step #2 Press through sieve (or cheat like I do & run 'em through the mixer).
  • Step #3 Measure & to each c pulp add 2/3 c sugar.
  • Step #4 Add juice & grated orange rind.
  • Step #5 Cook until thick (about 10-15 mins).
  • Step #6 pour this into sterilized pint jars to within 1/2 inch of top.
  • Step #7 Put on cap, screw band firmly tight and process in boiling water bath ten mins.
