Apricot Fizz Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 oz Dried apricots
  • 4 oz Wholewheat flour
  • 2 oz Sunflower seeds
  • 2 oz Wheatgerm
  • 1 pn Salt
  • 2 tb Molasses
  • 6 oz Rolled oats
  • 2 tb Liquid sweetener
  • 4 tb Orange juice
  • 2 oz Soy flour
  • 4 oz Seedless raisins
  • 3 tb Oil

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 375F.
  • Step #2 Grease an 8" square baking tin & set aside.
  • Step #3 stir this together the oats, flour, wheatgerm & soy flour.
  • Step #4 Add finely sliced apricots, raisins & sunflower seeds.
  • Step #5 stir this together the oil, sweetener & molasses & add to the dry ingredients.
  • Step #6 Add as much of the orange juice as necessary to make a soft but not runny mixture.
  • Step #7 Add the salt.
  • Step #8 Place the apricot mixture into the prepared tin.
  • Step #9 Bake for 25 mins.
  • Step #10 Cool in the tin scronig into fingers while still hot with a sharp knife.
  • Step #11 When cold, remove this from the tin & in an airtight container.
