Avocado Chef Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/3 c Granulated sugar
  • Nonstick cooking spray or butter
  • 1 c sliced dates
  • 1 c Mashed avocados
  • 1 1/2 ts Baking soda
  • 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c Cake flour
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Thawed frozen nonfat egg substitute
  • 1/3 c Nonfat milk
  • 1/2 ts Ground allspice
  • Powdered sugar
  • extra dates, slivered

Directions
  • Step #1 Spray a nonstick 9-inch-square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or lightly brush with butter.
  • Step #2 Sift together cake flour, sugar, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda & salt in large bowl.
  • Step #3 mix together avocados, egg substitute & nonfat milk in small bowl.
  • Step #4 stir in theto dry ingredients along with dates until mixed.
  • Step #5 Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  • Step #6 bake this at 325F degrees 30 to 35 mins or until wood pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Step #7 Cool in pan.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top lightly with powdered sugar.
  • Step #9 Garnish top this with a few slivers of dates, if desired.
