Avocado Pear With Crab~ Pear~ Peach & Primr Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Pecans; unsalted & sliced
  • Vegetable oil
  • Tortilla chips
  • 2 Garlic cloves; minced
  • 1 ts Chili powder
  • 4 Butter lettuce or Boston lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 10 Cherry tomatoes; ripe
  • 4 Avocados; peeled & pitted
  • 1/2 c Black olives; pitted
  • 2 tb Shallot;minced
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1/4 c Parsley; sliced
  • 1 tb Lemon juice; fresh

Directions
  • Step #1 Line a 6 c rectangular glass loaf pan or ceramic dish with 3 layers of waxed paper, extending over long sides only.
  • Step #2 Brush top sheet of paper generously with oil.
  • Step #3 Puree avocados & cream cheese in processor.
  • Step #4 Add shallots, garlic, lemon juice, chili powder and salt & mix 30 seconds.
  • Step #5 Transfer mixture to prepared pan; smooth top.
  • Step #6 Press plastic wrap onto surface of pate & put in the fridge at least 6 hrs or overnight.
  • Step #7 Remove plastic & unmold onto a platter lined with the lettuce leaves.
  • Step #8 Mix parsley & pecans & Sprinkle top it over the pate.
  • Step #9 Garnish with olives & tomatoes.
  • Step #10 Surround with tortilla chips.
