Lemon-dilly Chicken Saute Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 ts Pepper
  • 1/4 c Green onion, sliced
  • 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 lb Flank steak, 3/4" thick
  • 1/4 c Soy sauce
  • 1/4 c Dry red wine
  • 2 tb Vegetable oil
  • 3 tb Lemon juice
  • 1/4 c Water
  • 1/2 ts Celery seed
  • 1 ts Dried or 1 tb fresh dill
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Score meat by making shallow, diagonal cuts at 1-inch intervals across the steak; repeat on the other side.
  • Step #2 Place meat in a plastic bag that's set in a shallow dish.
  • Step #3 In a medium mixing bowl, dill, soy sauce, oil, mix green onion, garlic, water, red wine, Worcestershire, lemon juice, celery seed & pepper.
  • Step #4 Pour over steak; seal bag.
  • Step #5 Marinate in the refrigerator for 6 to 24 hrs, turning the bag every once in awhile to distribute the marinade.
  • Step #6 Drain meat, reserving marinade.
  • Step #7 To Grill steak, place directly over medium coals for 12 to 14 mins, or until it reaches desired doneness, turning once and brushing every once in awhile with the reserved marinade.
  • Step #8 To broil steak, place the meat on the unheated rack of a broiler pan about 6 inches from heat; cook 12 to 14 mins or until it reaches desired doneness, turning once & brushing every once in awhile with reserved marinade.
  • Step #9 To serve, use sharp knife to thinly slice meat across the grain.
