Chickenegetable Potpie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • Pastry for a single-crust 9-inch pie
  • 1 c cubed cooked chicken
  • 1 medium potato, peeled & cubed
  • 1/2 c frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 c water
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 celery rib, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 In a saucepan, potato, cook the carrots, onion & celery in water for 10 mins or until tender; drain.
  • Step #2 Stir in the peas, chicken & soup.
  • Step #3 Pour into a greased 1-1/2-qt.
  • Step #4 deep baking dish.
  • Step #5 Roll out pastry to fit top of dish; place over filling.
  • Step #6 Trim, seal & flute edges.
  • Step #7 Cut slits in pastry.
  • Step #8 Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 mins or until crust is golden & filling is bubbly.
