Lion's Head Meatballs In Claypot Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c Kikkoman Stir-Fry Sauce
  • 2 tb sliced green onions & tops
  • 1/2 lb Ground pork
  • 1 tb Kikkoman Stir-Fry Sauce
  • 3/4 lb Ground beef
  • 1/2 lb Imitation crab meat, flaked
  • Warm water
  • 6 lg Bok choy cabbage leaves - washed
  • 2 ts Minced fresh ginger root

Directions
  • Step #1 Remove stems from bok choy; chop enough to measure 1 c.
  • Step #2 Place leaves in 9 x 13-inch microwave-safe baking dish; add enough warm water to fill dish halfway.
  • Step #3 Cover; microwave on High 5 mins.
  • Step #4 Remove leaves & cool with cold water; drain.
  • Step #5 Spread leaves out flat on paper towels; set aside.
  • Step #6 Thoroughly mix next 6 ingredients & bok choy stems.
  • Step #7 Divide into 6 equal portions; shape into meatballs.
  • Step #8 Enclose each in bok choy leaf; place this in 9 x 13-inch microwave-safe baking dish.
  • Step #9 Cover; microwave on Medium-high (70%) 6 mins.
  • Step #10 Uncover; brush tops lightly with 1 Tbsp.
  • Step #11 stir-fry sauce.
  • Step #12 Cover; microwave on Medium-high (70%) 7 mins longer.
  • Step #13 Serve as soon as possible.
  • Step #14 Makes 4 to 6 servings.
