Living Large Chocolate-chunk Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c Chicken broth
  • 2 Green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 lb Chicken livers, trimmed, sliced
  • 1 tb Sherry
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 1 ts Finely sliced fresh ginger
  • 2 tb Peanut oil, divided
  • 1/4 lb Snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 tb Soy sauce
  • 2 tb Fermented black beans, rinsed, drained

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat 1 tb oil over high heat in large wok; add liver; stir fry 3-5 mins, or until liver is browned but still pink on the inside; remove this from wok; reserve.
  • Step #2 Reduce heat to medium; heat remaining oil in wok;add black beans, garlic & ginger.
  • Step #3 Stir fry 1 mins.
  • Step #4 Add soy sauce,sherry, broth & green onions; bring to a boil.
  • Step #5 Add liver; stir until sauce coats the liver & liver is heated through.
  • Step #6 Remove from heat & serve as soon as possible.
