Bag-a-bird Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Flour
  • 2 md Baking potatoes
  • 4 md Carrots
  • 1/2 ts Spice uped salt
  • 1/2 ts Thyme
  • 1 md Onion
  • 1 md Red/green pepper
  • 1 lg 14x20 cooking bag
  • 1/2 ts Basil
  • 1/3 c Water
  • 8 Pieces chicken

Directions
  • Step #1 Shake flour in bag.
  • Step #2 Place bag in 9 x 13 pan.
  • Step #3 Add water, basil, thyme & Spice uped salt & squeeze bag to mix.
  • Step #4 Cut onion & potatoes into 8 wedges each.
  • Step #5 Diagonally slice carrots & cut pepper into 1/2 inch cubes.
  • Step #6 Add onions, potatoes, carrots & peppers to bag.
  • Step #7 Turn bag to coat veggies with sauce.
  • Step #8 Arrange in an even layer.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top chicken with extra Spice uped salt, pepper, & paprika.
  • Step #10 Place chicken in bag on top of veggies.
  • Step #11 Close bag with nylon tie.
  • Step #12 Make 6 one half inch slits in top of bag.
  • Step #13 Bake 1 hr at 375 until tender.
