Baked Fried Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1 tb Vegetable oil;
  • 1/8 ts Paprika;
  • 2 lg Potatoes

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 450 F degree.
  • Step #2 Peel potatoes & cut into slices 4 inches long & 1/4 inch wide; place this in a bowl of iced water to crisp.
  • Step #3 Just before cooking, turn onto paper towel & pat dry.
  • Step #4 Spread pieces in one layer of a shallow baking pan.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top with the vegetables oil.
  • Step #6 Shake pan to spread oil evenly over potatoes.
  • Step #7 Bake 30-40 mins, turning frequently, until gold brown.
  • Step #8 Empty potatoes onto paper towels.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with salt & paprika.
  • Step #10 Food Exchange per serving: 1 STARCH EXHANGE + 1/2 FAT EXCHANGE CHO: 15g; PRO: 2g; FAT: 3g; CAL: 93; Low-sodium diets: Omit salt.
