Baked Clams With Tasso Gratinee With Saffron Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Scallion; sliced white and green part
  • 1 tb Sesame oil
  • 1/4 c Fermented black beans; rinsed & mashed
  • 2 ts Ginger, fresh; finely grated
  • 2 tb Wine, white
  • 1 tb Soy sauce
  • 24 Clams
  • 1/2 ts Red pepper flakes
  • 2 ts Garlic; minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Shuck the clams & place them on a baking sheet.
  • Step #2 Set aside.
  • Step #3 mix the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan & bring to a boil over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #4 Spoon the mixture on top of the mollusks.
  • Step #5 Bake for 5 to 7 mins at 450F, or until cooked but not tough.
  • Step #6 Serve as soon as possible.
