Baked Fish With Sweet & Sour Onions W/cousc Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 Whitefish, whole
  • ts Lemon rind, sliced
  • 1 tb Peanut oil
  • 1 tb Light soy sauce
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 1 ts Fresh ginger, sliced
  • 2 tb Tamarind sauce
  • 1 Garlic clove, crushed

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Place fish onto large pieces of foil.
  • Step #3 Make three deep incissions with sharp knife on each side of fish.
  • Step #4 2.
  • Step #5 In a food processor/blender, light soy sauce & peanut oil, tamarind sauce, garlic, ginger, lemon rind, mix onion, mix until the mixture is smooth.
  • Step #6 3.
  • Step #7 Spread mixture on both sides & inside the fish.
  • Step #8 4.
  • Step #9 Wrap foil around fish, secure firmly.
  • Step #10 Place fish in a baking dish, bake this at 180 degrees C for 30 mins, or until fish is just cooked.
