Baked Rice Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 ts Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 lb Red snapper; dressed
  • ----FISH-------
  • 2 tb Butter

Directions
  • Step #1 --STUFFING----- 3/4 c Onion; sliced 1/4 c Butter; melted (or oil) 1/2 c Sour cream 1/4 c Lemon; sliced, peeled 1 ts Paprika 1/2 c Celery; sliced 1 qt Dry bread crumbs 1/2 ts Dill 2 tb Grated lemon rind 1 ts Salt Stuffing: Cook celery & onion in butter or oil until tender.
  • Step #2 Mix sour cream & dill then mix all ingredients & mix thoroughly.
  • Step #3 Makes about one quart stuffing.
  • Step #4 Fish: Clean, wash & dry fish.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top inside & out with salt and pepper.
  • Step #6 Stuff fish loosely.
  • Step #7 Close opening with toothpicks.
  • Step #8 Place fish in well greased baking pan.
  • Step #9 Brush with melted butter or oil.
  • Step #10 Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 mins or until fish flakes easily.
  • Step #11 Baste every once in awhile with butter or oil.
  • Step #12 Serves 6.
