  • 1/4 c Light corn syrup
  • Salt & pepper
  • Butter
  • 1/4 c Canned beef consomme

Directions
  • Step #1 If thawed, may be stuffed with 1/4 c stuffing each.
  • Step #2 Spice up hens to taste with salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Place breast side up on rack in shallow roasting pan & brush well with butter.
  • Step #4 Roast uncovered at 400 degrees about 45 mins or until tender.
  • Step #5 During last 15 mins of baking, baste several times with mixture of consomme & syrup.
