Baked Stuffed Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Melted butter
  • 1 1/2 Lemons, juiced
  • 4 tb Finely minced celery
  • 6 Slices bread
  • 3 tb Worstershire sauce Tabasco sauce
  • 1/8 ts Sage
  • 3/4 c Salad oil
  • 2 tb sliced parsley
  • 2 tb sliced tomato few drops Tabasco sauce
  • 1/8 ts Thyme Basting sauce:
  • 1 1/2 ts Salt
  • 2 tb Butter
  • 3 To 6 lb. red snapper

Directions
  • Step #1 Saute minced celery in butter over low heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add sliced tomato, salt, Tabasco sauce, parsley, thyme, sage & bread which was soaked in cold water, then squeezed dry.
  • Step #3 mix all in skillet, then stuff into fish cavity.
  • Step #4 Skewer opening closed.
  • Step #5 Bake, in preheated oven set at 350 degrees, uncovered, basting often with sauce.
  • Step #6 Allow about 10 mins baking time per lb of fish.
  • Step #7 A greased sheet of paper or white cloth left under the snapper will make it easier to transfer to serving platter.
  • Step #8 Now back to the basting sauce: mix butter, salt, lemon juice, Worstershire sauce & Tabasco sauce, adding oil a little at a time.
  • Step #9 Pour over fish before starting baking.
  • Step #10 Baste often.
