Baked Wild Rice & Carrots Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 Apple, studded with cloves
  • 1 Duck
  • 2 Onions
  • Margarine, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Directions: Parboil duck 5 mins with 1 piece celery & small onion.
  • Step #2 Remove & drain.
  • Step #3 Rub cavity & outside with salt & pepper.
  • Step #4 place this inside duck 1 small onion, apple studded with cloves, & a small white potato.
  • Step #5 Bake 20 mins at 450-F uncovered.
  • Step #6 Reduce heat to 350-F & bake covered 15-20 mins.
  • Step #7 Baste with equal parts melted butter, hot water, & wine and/or orange juice mixture.
