Ingredients

1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
2 lg Eggs
1 c Granulated sugar
1 c Mashed, ripe banana
1 ts Baking soda
2 c All-purpose flour
1/4 c Sour cream
1 ts Pure vanilla extract

Directions
Step #1 ---GLAZE------ 1/4 c Packed brown sugar, softened 1 tb Sour cream, 1/4 c Sweetened condensed milk 2 tb Unsalted butter 1 c Confectioners' sugar 1 ts Pure vanilla extract--FROSTING----- 3 oz Cream cheese, softened 6 tb Unsalted butter, 1 tb Pure maple syrup 1 ts Pure vanilla extract 3 To 3 1/2 c confectioners -sugar 1.
Step #2 Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Step #3 Grease a 13- by 9-inch baking pan.
Step #4 Sift together the flour, baking soda & salt; set aside.

Step #6 Beat butter & granulated sugar in large bowl of electric mixer on high speed until light, 2 mins.
Step #7 Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Step #8 Stop the mixer & add bananas, sour cream and vanilla.
Step #9 Mix in on lowish speed.
Step #10 Fold in the dry ingredients & nuts with a rubber spatula.

Step #12 Transfer batter to prepared pan.
Step #13 bake this until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 35 mins.
Step #14 Cool completely on wire rack.

Step #16 For caramel glaze, mix brown sugar & condensed milk in a small saucepan.
Step #17 Cook over med-heat/flame, stirring often, until mixture begins to bubble.
Step #18 Reduce heat to low & add butter; cook & stir until melted.
Step #19 remove this from the heat and stir in the confectioners' sugar & vanilla.
Step #20 Spread over cooled cake.
Step #21 5.
Step #22 For frosting, beat cream cheese & butter until smooth.
Step #23 stir in the sour cream, maple & vanilla.
Step #24 Add enough confectioners' sugar to make a smooth, thick frosting.
Step #25 Carefully spread over caramel glaze.
