Banana Split Sundaes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c Mashed ripe banana -
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1 ts Baking soda
  • 2 ts Vanilla
  • 2 c All-purpose flour
  • 1 c Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 6 oz Semisweet chocolate pieces
  • Ice cream topping -
  • 2 1/2 c Quaker Oats, uncooked -
  • Ice cream or frozen yogurt
  • 1 c Margarine or butter - softened

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350 F.
  • Step #2 Beat together margarine & sugar until creamy.
  • Step #3 Add banana, eggs & vanilla; beat well.
  • Step #4 Add mixd oats, flour, baking soda & salt; mix well.
  • Step #5 stir in the chocolate pieces; mix well.
  • Step #6 Drop by 1/4 cfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart.
  • Step #7 Spread dough to 3-1/2-inch diameter.
  • Step #8 Bake 14 to 16 mins or until edges are light golden brown.
  • Step #9 Cool 1 min on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
  • Step #10 Cool completely.
  • Step #11 To serve, top each cookie with a scoop of ice cream & ice cream topping.
