Marinade For Fish Steaks - Chicken Breast Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 c Soft bread crumbs
  • 1 Onion -- sliced fine
  • 1 1/2 ts Salt
  • 1 tb Fresh parsley -- sliced
  • 2 lb Lean ground beef
  • 2 ts Fresh dill weed
  • 1 c Rice
  • 16 oz Peach slices -- canned
  • 1/4 ts Ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 ts Black pepper
  • 2 lg Eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Drain the peaches, reserving syrup, & cut slices in half.
  • Step #3 2.
  • Step #4 mix beef, beaten eggs, bread crumbs, dill weed, salt, onion, pepper & 1/3 c of the peach syrup.
  • Step #5 Mix well.
  • Step #6 3.
  • Step #7 mix the cooked rice, parsley & 1 tbsp of peach syrup.
  • Step #8 4.
  • Step #9 Pat the meat on waxed paper into a 14 x 10 rectangle about 3/4-inch thick.
  • Step #10 5.
  • Step #11 Spread the rice mixture evenly over meat.
  • Step #12 Stir nutmeg into peaches & distribute evenly over the meat.
  • Step #13 6.
  • Step #14 Roll up meat, jelly-roll fashion, from short side of rectangle to enclose peaches & form a pinwheel loaf.
  • Step #15 Press meat over filling at both ends of loaf.
  • Step #16 Place, seam-side down, on rack in roasting pan.
  • Step #17 7.
  • Step #18 Bake in preheated 350-degree oven for 1 hr.
  • Step #19 Brush with peach syrup & continue baking 15 mins more.
  • Step #20 let this stand 10-15 mins before slicing.
