Marinade For Fish & Poultry Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Meat tenderizer
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Red table wine
  • 3 Inch thick sirloin tip
  • 1 Bay leaves
  • 1/4 ts Oregano
  • 1 Clove garlic -- pressed
  • 1/2 c Oil
  • Lots of black pepper
  • 3 tb Green onion flakes
  • 1 ts MSG
  • 1/4 ts Thyme
  • Roast
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1/4 ts Rosemary

Directions
  • Step #1 place this in jar & shake well.
  • Step #2 --.
  • Step #3 Take large fork & poke holes in roast.
  • Step #4 Place roast & marinade in large Ziploc bag, or in flat pan & squeeze or turn to thoroughly coat meat.
  • Step #5 Let marinate 2 days in refrigerator.
  • Step #6 I made a medium fire in the bottom of the smoker & left out the water pan & placed the roast on the grill for about 20 mins per side.
  • Step #7 It is supposed to be medium, not well done.
  • Step #8 You'll have to check for doneness then & if not done to your taste, cook longer.
  • Step #9 It is FANTASTIC!! Dark brown on the outside & very tender on the inside.
  • Step #10 I also used the same marinade, doubled, & marinated a whole sirloin tip in a huge stainless steel bowl & smoked it with the water pan & it was great too, but only for a crowd!.
