Marinated Black-eyed Peas Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 3/4 lb Beef short ribs cut in 1/2
  • 1 tb Chili paste
  • 2 tb Soy sauce
  • 1 tb Ginger -- grated
  • 1 tb Pureed garlic
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 tb Sesame oil
  • 1 ts Crushed red pepper
  • 3 tb Plum sauce
  • 2 tb Lemon juice
  • Inch slices
  • 1 bn Green onions
  • 1/8 c Water
  • 1 tb Honey
  • 2 tb Oyster sauce
  • 1 bn Cilantro -- roughly sliced
  • 1 tb Peanut oil
  • 1/4 c Hoisin sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Spice up ribs to tastewith salt & pepper.
  • Step #2 Place on rack in roasting pan & bake this at 350x for 1 hr.
  • Step #3 mix water, lemon juice & crushed hot pepper inj a small bowl.
  • Step #4 Brush over top side of ribs & bake for an extra 10 min.
  • Step #5 Turn, brush again & bake 10 min.
  • Step #6 longer.
  • Step #7 let cool.
  • Step #8 mix hoisin, garlic, oyster, sesame oil chili paste, soy sauces with peanut oil, plum, ginger, cilantro & green onions in a large bowl.
  • Step #9 Add roasted ribs & toss to coat.
  • Step #10 Cover with plastic wrap and put in the fridge at least 4 hrs or upto 24 hrs.
  • Step #11 Grill or place under broiler 2 min.
  • Step #12 per side & serve as soon as possible with spicy cold soba noodles & sliced tofu with parsly if desired.
