Marinated Gulf Shrimp With Cellophane Noodles Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tb Olive oil
  • 1 Garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/4 c sliced fresh chives OR
  • 1 lg Onion, cut into 1/4" slices
  • 1 ts Grated orange zest
  • 1/8 c Dried chives
  • 1/4 ts Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 ts Ground cumin
  • Fresh chives for garnish
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 4 Grouper fillets
  • 12 4.5" strips orange zest
  • 4 Florida Orange Slices for garnish
  • 1/4 c Fresh Florida Orange Juice

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 In shallow pie plate mix orange juice, garlic, cumin, chives, grated orange zest, salt & pepper.
  • Step #3 Add grouper & coat completely with marinade.
  • Step #4 put in the fridge covered & marinate for 30 mins.

  • Step #6 Heat oven to 425F F.

  • Step #8 In baking pan mix oil, onion & strips of orange zest.
  • Step #9 4.
  • Step #10 Roast until onions begin to brown, about 25 mins, stirring once.
  • Step #11 Add grouper with marinade, pushing onion mixture to one side of pan.
  • Step #12 Bake 10 to 12 mins or until fish is just cooked through in center.

  • Step #14 Transfer to warm platter.
  • Step #15 Garnish with fresh chives & orange slices & serve.
