Mary Martin's Popcorn Balls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 bn Radishes
  • Miracle Whip
  • 80 To 100 med potatoes
  • Mustard
  • 60 To 80 sweet pickles
  • 80 Eggs
  • Paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Sweet pickle juice
  • 40 Green onions

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel potatoes & quarter for cooking.
  • Step #2 Boil potatoes until they are just done, not mushy.
  • Step #3 Hard boil the eggs & peel.
  • Step #4 Be sure to reserve some eggs for top of salad.
  • Step #5 Chop green onions, radishes, & sweet pickles.
  • Step #6 (You may use as many sweet pickles as you like.
  • Step #7 ) Cut potatoes in chunks.
  • Step #8 mix with eggs, radishes, green onions and sweet pickles.
  • Step #9 Mix dressing using proportions required to make potato salad moist, but not wet.
  • Step #10 (You can begin this salad a day ahead, but under no circumstances should you mix the dressing in until 2 to 4 hrs before you are ready to serve.
  • Step #11 ) Keep salad put in the fridged until ready to serve.
  • Step #12 Salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #13 Slice reserved eggs on top of salad & Sprinkle top with paprika.
  • Step #14 Note: The potatoes should be well cooled before you mix them with the dressing.
