Matzo Cheese Kugel Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tb Butter
  • 1 1/2 ts Salt
  • 4 lg Eggs
  • 4 Matzo crackers

Directions
  • Step #1 Soak matzos in cold water for 2 mins.
  • Step #2 Drain & crumble.
  • Step #3 Beat eggs & salt together in bowl.
  • Step #4 Add matzo; mix till well-coated.
  • Step #5 Heat butter in skillet & pour in matzo.
  • Step #6 Fry till browned on both sides.
  • Step #7 Serve warm with syrup and/or preserves.
  • Step #8 Can find matzo (mahtzo) crackers in "gourmet" sections, or stores that cater toward kosher foods.
  • Step #9 I prefer the egg & onion flavor.
