Matzo Joshawk (passover Soup) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb Cottage cheese
  • 5 Matzos
  • 2 Large onions, grated
  • 1/2 ts Salt
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 tb Butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Fry onions in butter until brown & let cool.
  • Step #2 Crush matzos, soak in cold water for 2 mins, drain & press out well.
  • Step #3 Mix onions and matzos with cheese, eggs, & salt.
  • Step #4 place this in greased pudding dish, & bake in hot oven (400 F.
  • Step #5 ) until brown, about 1/2 hr.
