Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (10 oz) package uncooked egg noodles
  • 1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms (optional)

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Lightly grease an 8x8 inch casserole dish.
  • Step #3 In a bowl, mix the soup & milk.
  • Step #4 Arrange chicken breast halves in the casserole dish.
  • Step #5 Top each breast half with a slice of cheese.
  • Step #6 Pour soup & milk over the chicken.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with mushrooms.
  • Step #8 Bake 30 mins in the preheated oven, or until sauce is bubbly & chicken juices run clear.
  • Step #9 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Step #10 Add noodles & cook for 8 to 10 mins, until al dente; drain.
  • Step #11 Serve chicken & mushroom sauce over the cooked noodles.
